Roald Dahl

MATILDA

Roald Dahl did not like adults! He said: "Parents and schoolteachers are the enemy!" When he started writing children's books in the 1950s, his stories presented the chid as the hero and the adults as the enemy. You probably remember horrible Miss Trunchbull in the book Matilda. She throws children out of the window!
